Colleen Maki has a degree in Graphic Arts from N.M.U. and teacher certification in art and design, and French. Recently retired from 30 years of teaching French, Art, and as a Yearbook Advisor, she is now focusing on photography and painting. Starting the path at N.M.U. as a photography major, she worked as a graphic artist for The St. Paul Voice before teaching.
In 2019, she was honored to have her own show at The Huron Mountain Gallery…..”Unseen Marquette”, as well as being a part of “New Growth” at The Gallery.
Prior to teaching she did much freelance work, lived in Europe, and explored all types of art.
